I can’t believe the 2005 pride & prejudice completely understood that the ONLY correct characterization for Darcy was having him look mortifyingly uncomfortable in literally every situation he’s placed in. his body language is just. horrifying. this man wants to crawl into a hole. not to mention he’s like 6 and a half feet tall which is just. he’s so uncomfortably Large that you can’t ignore him even though he Desperately Wants You To Ignore Him. thank GOD they didn’t try any of that Dashing Gentleman bullshit. awkward nerd is the only correct Darcy.

I can't get over how they took the beautiful ending of The Force Awakens and made it into some kind of slapstick comedy. I'm no 'director' but shouldn't there be some continuity in the tone of the scene? I mean for crying out loud Mark and Daisy had tears in their eyes filming the first time.

Right?? Rogue One transitions perfectly into ANH and makes you appreciate the beginning of the latter film even more (e.g. Leia’s sass to Vader becomes even more shameless). TLJ just completely undermines the emotion and dramatic buildup in the last scene of TFA for a joke that isn’t even particularly funny. It reminds me of the problem many Marvel movies have in constantly undercutting emotional or dramatic tension with jokes, because they’re afraid of being ~cheesy~ or whatever.
